One place where I worked, I used to park in the back corner of the parking lot. The surrounding area was wooded, with lots of trees, and there was a chain-link fence within that tree line, delineating the property. If you looked through it, you could see housing on the other side of the wooded area, so it was essentially a buffer between the residential and commercial areas, with maybe 100-150 feet of woodland and trees separating the two.

It was not uncommon to see deer and turkeys in our parking lot. One summer afternoon, I went to my car to leave, and there was a doe standing next to the fence. She got spooked by me and, from a standstill, leaped OVER THE FENCE. I think the hooves might have touched the top of the fence at the apex of her jump, but I don't remember for certain. It was quite an impressive display of power.

Had a deer jump over the front of my car while I was driving.

It was amazing. Had to be 8 ft into the air!
