Biden touts infrastructure spending as other priorities stall (collapse, disappear)

resident Biden on Friday sought to highlight the progress implementing the $1.2 trillion infrastructure law he signed 60 days ago, even as other elements of his legislative agenda have stalled recently.

In remarks from the White House, Biden described a government-wide effort over the past two months to get funds flowing to help repair bridges and highways as well as expand access to broadband.

“There’s a lot of talk about disappointments and things we haven’t gotten done - we're going to get a lot of them done, I might add - but this is something we did get done and it’s of enormous consequence to the country,” Biden said.

Biden highlighted the bipartisan nature of the bill and said it would spur job creation, make communities safer and help lower costs for Americans over time.

“This is what a better America is going to look like,” Biden said.

The resident also mentioned efforts to distribute funding to modernize highways, improve ports, modernize airports and expand broadband, as well as plans to replace lead pipes and cap abandoned wells.

After the bloated union contracts and kickbacks to politicians, there just might be enough left of that trillion to chip and seal 20 miles of road somewhere

Despite control of the House & Senate, the Rutabaga cannot pass one single piece of legislation, thank Ja-Hee-Zus.

Bridge building crews can’t work when there are empty grocery shelves. They can’t work when there’s no supplies or equipment due to unloaded cargo ships and nothing is being manufactured in the US.

There is much more wealth re-distribution involved here than just those castes; the infrastructure in socialist dumps is falling apart because of all the money spent on teachers, cops, etc. and future revenues are pledged to future benefits for them - all while chasing away the taxpayers (employers AND employees) who funded it all.

Socialist states are trafficking foreigners to fill the void left by fleeing Americans, and they have no hope of maintaining any real economy with the “tired, huddled poor” they import; the plan is just to create faux economies based on federal transfers such as food stamps/WIC, Section 8, etc.. The “infrastructure spending bill is just another way to get economically-viable states to pay another slew of their bills.
