Not to worry, the real world will intrude and take care of all of this. The problem isn’t EVs, it’s the government trying to mandate more of them than will ever be built due to scarcity of rare earth minerals available to build them in the first place.

“The amount of rare earth minerals required to put millions of EVs on the road aren’t available and other countries control the supply”

Every car company is going to non lithium solid state batteries that are 100% recylable. They are ironing out the kinks but most plan on having them in their cars by as early as 2023. Toyotas car will be SSB in 2023. SSB are half the size, hold more range and are fast charging. Cost is currently higher than lithium but that wil come down like anything.

“They want to get rid of our current (fossil fuel) infrastructure”

What the far left dreams and what the democrat politicans actually vote for is totally 180 degrees apart.
Fossil fuels will be around for decades especially natural gas.

Under Biden, natural gas production and approved new well permits in my area for 2021 are at a record level..Marcellus Utica region. Even more than under Trump.

Don’t believe the doom and gloom. The large corporations control the agenda.

I realize reality is starting to set in even with leftist politicians.

Governor Gruesom and even the EU have decreed that natural gas is carbon free and hence green.

Though many jurisdictions including NYC have made illegal the use of natural gas or oil for space heating in new constructions.

Yep, weeks of 10 degree weather and sky high heating bills makes everyone except the most far left realist.

Would not have to worry about it until that time because they will kill each other off first.

Then they will beg for somebody to come in and save them.

We are gonna see Opposed piston engines within a couple years.

Not the outward ones like Subaru, but the real opposed piston engines.

Something that was built about a 100 years ago.

BTW, they had electric delivery trucks back then-Walker, and they failed.
