Yes, very common tactic. It is used to not only revoke your license, but to keep you from practicing your profession anywhere else. It is a very, very serious matter to be determined to have a mental issue. It literally ruins your career. I do know this from first-hand experience. The problem with such assessments, is one who is subject to them, is taking them under extreme duress.
