IVERMECTIN PRESRIPTION REQUEST

Posted on 01/13/2022 1:59:17 PM PST by 7thson

I requested from my doctor - she is a Johns Hopkins doctor - for a prescription for Ivermectin. This is her reply -

I never give prescription for ivermectin to humans.

I will NOT give your rx for ivermectin. This is non science.

Should I waste a reply to her?

You should not only drop her and find another doctor, you should YELP review her practice. Be creative and have fun...

You can Ivermectin from lots of doctors. Just do an internet search. If you can find a doctor who will prescribe it after searching for 30 minutes, you’re doing something wrong

Go to Www.americasfrontlinedoctors.org

I certainly wouldn’t let her have the last word—she’s treating you as if you were a jerk, not a person with dignity. I would pen a respectful reply pointing her to all the links other freepers have provided about the efficacy of ivermectin. Then, in response to her comment that she would never treat a human with ivermectin, i’d point out that I hoped she never got any human patients with malaria (ivermectin being the treatment of choice).

then of course, I would end with with something along the lines of since you won’t engage in thoughtful, vigorous discussion of the pros/cons of various covid treatments, I need to engage the services of a physician who wants to be my partner in healthcare, not my parent and a shrewish scold

Tell her you have worms and if she doesn’t prescribe the number one preventative drug world wide you will sue her for malpractice ... then go to Americas Frontline Doctors website and get your prescription.

Then I would certainly let this doc know you’ll be looking for another one.

These large, interconnected hospital systems could put a negative remark in a complainer's computerized file that would be like a blacklisting. It's better to just quietly find another doctor and request a file transfers from the assistant without making a big deal. You need not give an explanation.

Apparently corporate medicine overrides patient care. I don’t plan to return there.

I hear that Kaiser patients are getting the same bedside manner.

As far as Hopkins, I have two horror stories having to do with the treatments friends have received, so I stay away. It's a shame, the arrogance. Wish I knew where one could feel somewhat safe to go to a physician any more.

My former doc was just a good old guy who didn’t seem to play the Hopkins arrogance game.

Ivermectin for horses, on Amazon. Same ingredient they give to humans.

Found a place. Don’t need no stinking doctor under these circumstances. I just keep it rolling in. In the meantime, I just feed the technicians they call doctors any story they need to hear. “They can’t play a playa.”

My doctor told me Ivermectin is toxic for humans. I lost all respect for him at that point. Then I let him know it was prescribed to me for each deployment overseas. He had no further comment.

How much was it before 2019?

Last year I was getting it at Tractor Supply for $6.48 for a tube of Duramectin.

75 trials show it works. Only one significant negative result (Buonfrate) used 10 times the dosage of the others, probably too much and caused 4 hospitalizations.

“My Johns Hopkins doctor’s practice was only seeing well patients ...”

The same thing happened to me. I was sick so called to make an appointment with my doctor. Receptionist: “YOU’RE SICK! YOU CAN’T COME HERE!!” Silly me. For 70 years when I was sick I went to my doctor. Things have changed so much.

“Let her go. Don’t reply.”

Only trouble is, it seems that ALL doctors are on the same page with the Ivermectin issue. I have heard they’ve been told they’ll have their credentials pulled if they try to save lives with this drug.

I guess you’d have to learn how to give injections? Su-cutaneous sounds do-able; intramuscular sounds like an actual jab injection. Am I correct?

“Submit the request again with a release form stating she will not be held liable for prescribing, but if she refuses, she can expect a major lawsuit of stripping her of her medical license and a lawsuit for malpractice.”

The trouble is that doctors realize that they’ll be stripped of their medical licenses if they DO prescribe it. So there would be dueling threats, with her as the pickle in the middle. Either way it’s not good — a lose-lose situation.

Data shows that 3.7 billions doses have been given to humans for a couple of decades. (And that number may be low at this point in time.)

“You can buy it over the counter in Mexico.”

Our last cruise was Feb. 1-8, 2020, when Covid was just getting legs. At that time Diamond Princess was docked in Japan. We bought several drugs at a pharmacy in one of the ports — Belize, I think. Amoxicillin, Cipro, and a couple others. If only we would have known about Ivermectin we could’ve stocked up on that, too. At that time, when demand wasn’t a thing, the price most likely would have been much more reasonable.
