Guess he’s got Omicron this time. Not sure if he had the original or delta before.
He said he was sick before in 2020, so not Delta.
My theory (just based personal experience)
Everyone I know who has gotten Omicron has either not had covid or had covid in 2020.
Everyone I know who had “Delta” has not gotten Omicron.
All mild but one, 2-3 days of cold symptoms with a lingering upper respiratory cough (like a throat tickle almost)
Anecdotal, of course.
The one who was not mild has major issues, cancer survivor, blood clotting disorder, COPD, asthma, obese, high blood pressure, stroke survivor with 100% cartoid artery blocked. Was on o2 prior to being sick. Anyway, that person had a rougher time of it, obviously, but slowly getting better by the third week. Interestingly, the docs offered her ivermectin which she refused because she didn’t want to mess with having her Warfarin adjusted. The only other treatment she was given was prednisone, nebulizer and anti-nausea med. Not sure why they didn’t offer her an antibiotic at least.
