I use a water pick like device called “pronair”.
High volume (2 cups, one each side) salt water..
Works like charm.
Feels about as pleasant as being water boarded.

The X in Xlear stands for Xylitol. Xylitol is a sugar substitute and can be bought at the grocery store. I’ve seen it in liquid form, like stevia.
For years I’ve been making my own saline solution for my nose and using a nasal spray squeeze bottle to administer. I make a batch and put a little clove oil, oregano oil, silver, peppermint, iodine in it. It would be very easy to add xylitol to the mix.
Since Covid I also have a spray bottle of peroxide to which I have added a little zinc, clove oil, salt oregano oil. I use this to swab my nose and gargle in the morning. I have a bottle of this in my car with qtips and if I’ve been somewhere crowded I can swab my nose when I leave.
So far no Covid here.

I use a nose douche of salt and baking soda every night - helps with chronic sinusitis and hopefully washes out bacteria and viruses.
Might try adding a bit of iodine, but not sure how bad it will burn going through.
For what it’s worth:
I caught Omicron the week of 1/4, developing symptoms 1/8. I have no knowledge of anyone sick around me prior to the last day of work, 1/7.
Due to my persistent sinus issues, I do a sinus flush daily. Within a few days of my initial symptoms, the body aches finally abated and then began basic symptoms of a head cold, sinuses, the works. I’ve had worse colds. A few days later I noticed that my ears were getting plugged. I then came across this thread and that night began flushing with Betadine, 1 tsp in my regular nasal flush. Relief was almost immediate, over the next couple days my ears became clear.
But here’s the deal: My ears are clear today, but I still have tinitis, my hearing is reduced like my ears are still plugged and I have equilibrium issues.
Here’s what I believe:
I believe that the virus was colonizing my nose and my sinus wash blew it into my eustachian tubes, infecting my inner ear. The betadine knocked down the infection blocking my tubes, but I believe that the virus is still infecting my inner ear. It’s only been 3 days and I’m pretty sure that my right ear has improved, but my left ear is bad.
Fair warning to others who regularly sinus wash to stop plain saline if you suspect Omicron and immediately begin flushing with a Povidone iodine solution to kill the virus and prevent experiencing my mistake.
I’m trying to order Ivermectin to begin a treatment regimen to clear this now latent virus from my ears, assuming that it doesn’t clear on its own (I’m highly skeptical of the latter).

Can you believe how many fake variations of this BIG LIE there are? Gargling Bleach my ass... He never said that. In fact, I still remember that press conference and don’t even think he said the work bleach.
