Why the crane? Are they lifting out the fountain and dropping a new one in its place?
Why tall concrete structure for fountain construction? Will they be blasting? If blasting, why does it surround the entire front lawn?
Lots of plywood put up too... seems to be painted.
What was the crane doing? It came first thing this morning, and now it’s gone. Did some crane do something?
Bottom line is, I have no idea. I could speculate, with little confidence any possibility I came up with was anywhere near to what is actually happening. Construction is in this category of possibilities.
The picture clearly shows standard jersey barriers supporting painted plywood sheeting. I only see the fountain area surrounded, not the entire lawn.
I don’t think the crane has any relevance to the fountain area.
