Last week we were supposed to fly, I had a cough, my wife insisted I get tested for COVID before flying. I thought it was just allergies, but I ended up testing positive for COVID. My wife then tells me that she has been having headaches, she then tests positive for COVID.

I doubt very seriously you or your wife have Covid.
If you had it last December, the covid tests you just took may still be reflecting that virus.
In any event, with the abundancy of the many FALSE covid tests now flooding the scene - I would just ignore the tests, continue on with your normal vitamin protocals, and live life as ususal.
“If you had it last December, the covid tests you just took may still be reflecting that virus.”
That confused a bit but I’m thinking December 2020 is the time frame.
Correct.
“The most common genetic test uses a method called reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR). Right now, this is considered the “gold standard” for diagnosing COVID-19,... One downside of RT-PCR is that a person can test positive after they have recovered and no longer have an active infection but still have inactive (dead) pieces of virus in their body.”
