30 years ago I was on a German subway in Frankfurt and the inspector caught 7 teenagers with no ticket. They got fine slips and had to listen to the inspector lecture them until the next stop.

here in the LA transit system or Metro, I’ve seen first-hand around 90% of riders just pass thru the turnstiles at the subway station.
The obama kids DONT PAY. Period. You would see LAPD around but it’s not their concern.

Actually the name Dodgers comes from dodging street cars to keep from being hit by them and being injured or killed, not from dodging fares.
