I like Catherine, but these new portraits are not flattering, and in my opinion they miss the mark as regal, historical portraits. The Daily Mail has had some articles about her fashions over the years, and every one of the pictures looks better than these three.

While you may not like these newly released photos of the Duchess of Cambridge and refer to her as better dressed in the pics you have provided, you have missed the entire point.

These pics are not a fashion shoot nor everyday, royal duty wear.

These are birthday portraits & far from what you have referenced.

Her 40th birthday is considered a milestone birthday in many circles, royal or not.

Hence,the portraits.

I agree. He hair, in my opinion, is way too long and is styled in an unflattering way. There are many much prettier pictures of her. This batch is not flattering. Hard to believe that she approved them.
