70% of Georgians hospitalized with COVID-19 this year unvaccinated

ATLANTA — More than 70% of people hospitalized with COVID-19 in Georgia in the first week of January unvaccinated or partially vaccinated according to data from the Georgia Department of Health.

By contrast, 25% of people hospitalized with the virus were fully vaccinated but not boosted and 4% had received a booster shot.

Listened to an “expert” on Fox yesterday. She explained about when to get tested, if symptoms are present to quarantine for five days, then if symptoms still present, get tested again and quarantine for five more days. Said not a word about treatment. I kid you not.

Numbers never lie, liars use numbers. We all know the vaccine is useless after six months. What time period are they using to claim unvaccinated? And finally what therapeutics were available and used on the unvaccinated.

For the record, in my state (OR) the OR Health Authority used to present the ‘vaxxed/unvaxxed’ of hospitalizations; now they focus on diluting info on breakthrough ‘cases’. As I tracked the data last year, the state opted to overwhelm residents with over a dozen ‘dashboards’ and eliminated the ‘vaxxed/unvaxxed’ metrics as the trend showed a growing percentage of ‘vaxxed’ as 2021 wore on (and this was before the testing which generated stats as cited with the post, i.e., “with”).

But absent the ‘unvaxxed’ stat, careful digging reveals the truth behind inflammatory headlines posed by the linked example (Newsweak) below:

Only 11% of hospitalizations as of 1/4 were “Total COVID” patients.

Where are the stats regarding other causes of death?

High double-digit decreases most likely.

Guess with hospitals getting 30k/per covid relief, it's one way to financially deal with(increasing)non-paying illegals putting a strain on the system also.

Spin, spin, spin...There are far more vaccinated people than unvaccinated. So, that 70% are unvaccinated is pretty damn significant because the pool of the unvaccinated is much smaller.

Better go back to spin that numbers are being made up. Paranoid but not as silly.

Exactly. Everyone entering the hospital, whether for a broken arm or asthma attack — is tested for the China Flu and, if positive, they become Covid patients. The numbers are deceptive, intentionally so.

63% of the nation is fully vaccinated. Only 10% have had only one shot and 27% are unvaccinated (and most of them are younger and healthier and aren't at much risk).

So, the one-shot/unvaccinated is still much smaller group than the fully-vaccinated. Thus, the statistics here are quite relevant.

This is a distraction. The first question to ask is how many who get exposed/infected are hospitalized.

If the answer to that is low, subsequent analysis of the stats is academic.

And the answer to that first question is indeed low.

When Fauci misinforms the public that cloth masks work, he risks the health of anyone who believes a cloth mask will protect them when caring for a spouse or relative with COVID!

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has made a habit of amending its COVID-19 guidelines, most recently cutting the length of its recommended quarantine time for infected patients from 10 days to five. Those who are infected are now instructed to isolate for just five days, followed by five days of wearing a mask around other people.

Heard this morning about a teenager taken to hospital for a bad ankle sprain, tested positive and they still have him there 3 days later. (Collecting money for a Covid case I assume).

I’m getting the distinct impression the hospitalization numbers/percentages are exaggerated...a lot.

American hospital reports follow CDC guidelines which require purposefully falsifying the data with regard to vaccination status.
The gaps between being counted as vaccinated and unvaccinated are large enough to drive a truck through.

Here is an example of the twisted logic of the CDC:
