It's been nearly a year since baseball legend and Braves Hall of Famer Henry "Hank" Aaron passed away at the age of 86. On Wednesday, Aaron was laid to rest at a permanent gravesite in the historic South-View Cemetery in Atlanta.
He has been kept in a temporary crypt at the cemetery until his final resting place was finished. The baseball legend began his career in the major leagues at 20 years old with the Milwaukee Braves. Known by the Baseball Hall of Fame as one of “baseball’s most iconic figures,” he broke Babe Ruth's home run record on April 8, 1974, when he hit his 715th home run. Aaron remains baseball's all-time leader in RBI (2,297) and total bases (6,856).
Apart from being a force in the field, Aaron was also an activist against racism in Major League Baseball.
With his wife, he also co-founded the Hank Aaron Chasing the Dream Foundation to help children develop their potential.

Hank helped more black people in his death than his did in life. Because of Hank, Unvaxxed blacks will live a full life thanks to his untimely sacrifice to Government
In my book, he’s also the career home run leader.
As a kid I watched Hank Aaron hit the home run breaking Babe Ruth’s record. RIP
I also watched Hank hit his 715th and watched him play many times at Braves stadium.
As far as I am concerned, he REMAINS the #1 home run champion with a record that I will probably not live to see broken.

Hank Aaron took the first dose of the vax on January 4. He died a little over 2 weeks later.
The official cause of death is “natural causes”, but wtf does that really mean?
Does it mean they didn’t find a cause (which wouldn’t rule out the vax), does it mean they found a cause that was unvaxxed related, or does it mean the didn’t look too hard, because they guy was in his 80s?
Could be he was an old guy. People in their 80’s drop dead every day.

Are Freepers so old and scared that they blame the vaccine for every old farts death…so they feel bullet-proof by jot taking the shot?
This attitude has really made the comment sections unreadable. It makes Free Republic look like a one-trick pony where everything is blamed on the vax.
He died 3 weeks post-shot.
People close to him believe it was the shot, but you won’t see that on the news.
Wow. I posted a link and ya kinda lost your noodle there. When will you begin to pay attention to the vaccine deaths - when it hits a million?
Oh, I am not saying the vax doesn’t cause problems—I know first hand that it does.
What I am saying is that when you see a vax death in every single obituary of an old person—whether it is Betty White or Hang Aaron, or every 90 something who dies...that dilutes the real impact.
I was in the hospital a week after a shot. I have a good friend who got the heart crap, and another who had an auto immune reaction. So...not old people, not internet stories—three real people who’ve sat at my dinner table.
I see the guys dying on the soccer pitches.
But, 80 and 90 year olds wake up every morning with a better than average chance of dropping dead. Suggesting, ad nausem, that they all died of the vaccine is as bad as the suggestion that a million people have died of Covid.
The statistics of this whole thing—on both sides—are being pulled out of the air by people who don’t know the difference between means and medians; or who can tell you how to calculate a change in percentages.
I am not necessarily accusing YOU personally of that last paragraph. But I have seen way too many articles and comments on FR that are simply not based in reality.
You can believe whatever you want. I honestly don’t care. The sun will come up tomorrow. But...using dramatic phrasing and high valence terms is what the libs are doing to get their tic-tock clicks. Its lazy. And it makes us, as a whole, look bad.
