The Hockey Diversity Alliance hopes an attention-grabbing video and a campaign involving hockey tape bolsters its mission to eradicate racism in the sport.
The HDA, made up of current and former hockey players of color, has partnered with Budweiser Canada to launch "#TapeOutHate," a campaign that will feature rolls of hockey tape available for purchase with "racism has no place in hockey" written on the tape.

There’s racism in hockey? What? Do they make minorities ride a separate bus? Drink from Separate fountains? Eat at separate diners? Use separate bathrooms?
It is not unreasonable for players to not make it in the NHL. The NHL is the best hockey league in the world and only about 800 players play in it each year. It is a difficult league to play even one game in. On the average 49% of players who are drafted by an NHL team will make it to the NHL, which means that they play at least one game at the NHL level. And those are not walk ons, they are draft picks.
There are currently 26 black players in the NHL. United States citizens constitute 28.1% of the NHL’s total roster. That’s 269 hockey players, with 26 of them being goalies. But the sport is just the opposite of the NBA where 78% are black players. It just depends upon the availability of sports being taught and stressed in youth.

I saw Grant Fuhr interviewed some time ago. He looks a lot whiter now than he did in his playing days.
Note to diversicrats: Telling people they are “haters” in need of your good advice is not a winning strategy.
Tape that can used for multiple purposes including on the blade to gain better control of the puck.
