Norwegians who only enlisted for the underwear are going to be upset.

Funny, there's another thread tonight about a possible shortage of pet food. It seems like the supply chain is having problems everywhere. Good thing we have Joe, Kammy and Petey in charge of things in the USA.
BY the ye, is Petey back from maternity leave yet?

Could be worse. In WW1, the Austro-Hungarian Army was so short of uniforms that it disinterred the corpses of men killed early in the war so that the uniforms could be reclaimed and reissued. I didn't know that!
I knew a Marine "Raider" who, while on a mission scouting out some terrain on some gawd-forsaken Pacific islet in WWII, found the skeletonized body of a fellow Marine, and took his uniform because it was in better condition than his own.

One pair of underpants is good for 4 days.
Right side out, frontward.
Right side out, backwards.
INside out, frontward.
Inside out, backwards.
