When my dad’s family moved to a new house during the winter of 1936, he had to walk the milk cow down the road, in a snowstorm. He said he didn’t have a cap, but a neighbor saw him struggling and gave him one.
Too many today live in a cocoon of safety, and simply don’t have a clue how to survive without daddy sugar telling them to dress warm.

I live in western NY and you can ask the same for here. I’ve seen people in the grocery store wearing shorts and sweatshirts when the temp is less than 20 degrees.
