The way it works is a letter stands for another letter. For example: AXYDLBAAXR is LONGFELLOW (does not apply to today's cryptogram).
Beware, the game is very addictive. If this is your first time, don't be intimidated, you’ll be solving them all within a few days. If you’re stumped, take a break and return to it.
PLEASE DO NOT post the answer in general comments, but DO post your time and how you made out.
You can certainly send your solution to my private reply, or if you need a hint for today’s Cryptogram ASK THE GROUP FOR HELP!
I suggest printing these out and work them on paper. If you need a little help you can copy and paste it to Hal’s Helper below.
You can then work on the puzzle without using pen and paper, but I recommend that you do NOT look at the letter counter.
One last request. Feel free to post a fun or clever clue, the more tangential to the quotation the better, but please don’t put the actual words of the quote in the clue.

More than nine minutes. Took me a while to recognize word three. After that a little digging.
Word three just might be the first word I learned when I started doing these things. Either that or ‘unknown’.
Interesting quote, except from Jim Jones.

A high-dairy word salad!
This took me forever, because I couldn’t believe that word 3, which is always the same, even though there are other words that fit the pattern, could lead to the last word. Even with the clues.
I am well acquainted with word three and a lot of other patterns, but HAL, for whatever reason, makes it hard to me to see patterns.
Magnum, It’s from the author’s book….. if I am remembering correctly this character in the story dislikes another character who she thinks is mean to her. He brings her a (word in the quote) every Sunday morning on his way to church, sort of to make amends, cover his guilt, be friendly. When she realizes he is just trying to be nice she says (the quote). knowing this context makes the 2nd sentence make sense.
I don’t really like the author or the books, but do think the quote is nice.
Might be the font.
Stumbled in to the first word then word three and took off.
