The CDC's vaccine tracking by age shows about 245MM people have received at least one shot. Of this total, 23MM are 75+, 33MM are 65-74, 58MM are 50-64, and 34MM are 40-49.
One-third of 245MM is 82MM. If you assume 90%, 80%, and 60% of those over 75, 65-74, and 50-64, respectively, will be gone in a decade, then he's right.
