In an odd sort of way, he may be right but for the wrong reasons.

The CDC's vaccine tracking by age shows about 245MM people have received at least one shot. Of this total, 23MM are 75+, 33MM are 65-74, 58MM are 50-64, and 34MM are 40-49.

One-third of 245MM is 82MM. If you assume 90%, 80%, and 60% of those over 75, 65-74, and 50-64, respectively, will be gone in a decade, then he's right.

Same here. A lot of people I love very much have taken the full set of those shots. I don’t want to lose them.
