Were they?
For what?
Yeah, but the thug population is getting emboldened even here.
A couple of days ago I was going into the Ulta (cosmetics) store in a middle-class, non-luxury mall and two black women practically mowed me down on their way out the door. I apologized because I thought I had gotten in their way by accident, and then suddenly a third one comes along. And I then realized that the staff was standing all around with their cameras out and the manager was on the phone.
I heard her say, “we just got hit.” To me, that indicates that it’s been happening in other places.
All of the women had their arms full of boxes of perfume they had just grabbed off the shelves. They walked out quickly, but without a care in the world...just looking defiantly at anybody in their way and shoving past them.
I live in Jacksonville, which is a very liberal city with a RINO mayor who has opposed DeSantis every step of the way. And he has been lousy on crime, so these women knew perfectly well that they could do whatever they wanted.
BTW, they weren’t badly dressed, definitely not undernourished, and not even covered with gang tats. They just looked like 20-30 yr old local women out to loot the neighborhood Ulta. What a girls’ afternoon out!
yes, the old tropicana village subdivision. eichler style homes for $~5000 around 1958.
I kind of doubt it would matter if they did carry.
I’m guessing the penalty for using a firearm to defend your property in California far exceeds the penalty for Mob smash-and-grab. And I’m not being sarcastic. No telling what the penalty would be if you actually shot one of those clowns.
And, now that we are constitutional carry here in Kentucky, it really raises the odds of robbing the wrong person LOL
Equip the doors of stores with drop-down nests of razor wire with an activation unit hooked to a security station at each counter and cash register. As soon as things start being broken, drop ‘em.
This touches on why I don’t go to California anymore. That country has become off limits.
California has definitely become another country.
Come spring we’ll have to do lunch again.
It’s kind of funny, I was stoking the fire in my garage and thinking, yeah we need to do that lunch thing again. Probably with less snow on the ground though. :-)
