LOL yeah right. I actually watched live podcasts of some holding rallies along the way during their cross country travels to DC, hoping something good would come of it. It’s been a disaster ever since. Trump put that together, whether you want to blame those that went there to support him, or not.

If one has truly paid attention to the timeline one would know that Epps and the morons that obeyed him started their violence 20 minutes BEFORE President Trump finished his speech. Trump did not yet know that the capitol was being attacked, therefore after he finished his speech the violence at the capitol was already underway and it would have been the height of stupidity for the Secret Service to let President Trump go there. I mean, that should be obvious to anyone even those with a sub 80 IQ.
Since there is no evidence to support that, hopefully he does not.

There would have been a second Operation Warp Speed most likely after the time was bought from the initial vaccinations to then push for infrastructure for treatment and on developing drugs for therapeutics, treatment, etc. Regardless of how long or how effective the vaccines were, there was going to a point of peak effectiveness and peak utilization of them. Any person with a modicum of common sense would know that. DeSantis saw that in Florida and took steps accordingly. So continuing to push for the “vaccines only” approach was inevitably going to be less and less effective.

Then he should have started pointing out the rioters were not his supporters, so the supporters didn’t get mingled in with them, and be ultimately blamed along with him for the same thing. He could have at least said he wasn’t coming, after all, which would have stopped a lot of what happened. His supporters were stood up, and left waiting, and framed for things they didn’t do.
