I agree with your post.

I know a few actors (perhaps not celebrities) and they tell me the same story.

They were asked to hand over everything to their managers for them to make decisions. Their job is to act, and their bosses tell them how to act.

Those who don’t comply don’t go very far. Commercials every now and then, reality tv perhaps. But until they comply with the wills of their managers, they get nothing.

Me too in the ‘50’s, and early ‘60’s, but the bad ones seem to dominate from my perspective, and are totally unacceptable.

Same story here. I'm a former Broadcast TV Producer and also had my own terrestrial radio show, featuring celeb level industry pros. As I got to know them, I was astonished to learn how many were closet conservatives!
