Two symbolic events in the struggle for human freedom over oppressive government transpired last month with barely any notice from the American media. The first was the thirty-year anniversary of the collapse of the Soviet Union. The second was the Chinese Communist Party's removal of monuments commemorating the 1989 Tiananmen Square Massacre that occupied sacred ground on Hong Kong university campuses, including a replica of the famed "Goddess of Democracy" statue that was erected in the square just before Chinese military forces killed, kidnapped, or crippled thousands of students and workers pleading for individual liberty.

I suppose it seemed disjointed to the creatures of our swamp leviathan to celebrate victory in the Cold War over an evil empire that stifled speech, micromanaged economic relations, and disappeared its political enemies into the bowels of gulag hell when it is now also perversely engaged in shutting down free speech, squeezing domestic markets into political compliance through mandates and regulations, and tossing election protesters into dungeons where complaints of physical and psychological torture are rife and constitutional due process looks beaten if not dead.
Likewise, how can the lords and ladies (and all their non-binary, "woke," communist-leaning comrades) ruling the American continent from their taxpayer-funded "safe spaces" rail against China's attempts to erase from history its bloody massacre of peaceful demonstrators nearly thirty-three years ago when D.C. is in the midst of an enormous propaganda campaign of its own to transform the overwhelmingly peaceful demonstrations that occurred last January 6 into an "insurrection" that somehow threatened the feds grip on total power? China, how dare you rewrite history to turn "democracy protesters" into "domestic terrorists" at the exact same time we're trying to rewrite history by turning "democracy protesters" into "domestic terrorists" ourselves?

Are our communists going to throw us more scraps than their communists?
It is a travesty the the American people have allowed these shameless scallawags sieze and hold power . We should hang our heads in shame.
No, we should hang their necks after a fair Nuremberg type trial, of course.
Likening Jan. 6 to the Tiananmen Square massacre is no less absurd and abhorrent than Pelosi comparing it to 9/11.
It is quite clear that the American Thinker....isn’t!
Hardly.
We SAW police opening doors for the crowd
We SAW them file in, staying within the ropes in an orderly fashion
We SAW many of them taking in the historical sights of the building; taking selfies, etc…
Our media and DC politicians are trying desperately to paint this akin to the climax of “The Dirty Dozen”.
It’s a bad joke.
I agree. While voting for the lesser pf two evils. We lost sight of the fact that the lesser of two evils is still evil. It has finally caught up with us. We are about to reap what we have been sowing.

While the peaceful events of last January 6th do not spell any national tragedy, neither the riot at the Capitol nor the shameless Dim labeling of that riot as an insurrection constitute events on par with Tienanmen Square.
The riot was not a legitimate means to any legitimate end.
When our elected representatives fail us we go the polls next time with renewed vigor to throw the rascals out, not by rioting.
Democrats never seem to want to mention the fact that they pardoned the Puerto Rican terrorists who shot up the Capitol in 1954, wounding 5 Congressmen.
January 6, 2021 is rapidly becoming the first day of the war between Americans and the City State Tyrants
There can be no coexistence.
To believe there can be is abject stupidity
the United States of the cowed
On that we both agree.
