I have finished both faux fur hats, a moss stitch wash cloth (quick knitting project), & now I'm working on a pair of arm warmers for a friend (birthday the 15th). I have a bunch of stuff to post (links I've been keeping for this thread), BUT we have a snow storm on the way & I'm trying to get some things around here straightened out .... like finding my snow shovel, getting vehicles pointed in the right direction (headed 'out'), etc. I'll be posting tomorrow while the sneux is flying :-) Thank you for the thread!
Great use of scraps! Our snow is done for now - but we were -1 this morning when I got up. We average 50 inches of snow a year, and usually get 25 inches of it ALL AT ONCE! (I know, New Yorkers in Buffalo say, ‘Only 50 inches?? Hold Muh Beer!’)
Remember that really WARM Fall we had here in SW Wisconsin? Remember how I didn’t bother to mulch my Asparagus patch until December 24th? Yeah. That’s definitely done with now, LOL!
Scraps are currently being stockpiled for Lap Afghans and Prayer Shawls for hospice...but our ‘Chief’ (Beagle) WOULD benefit from some booties!
