There is some social media in the USA, which is not controlled by the state. The comparison to Facebook, Twitter, and Google, the Tech Oligarchs, seems very close.
The US does not have a government system of Social Scoring nor is Surveillance Ubiquitous, nor are dissidents subject to Organ Harvest, no government sanctioned genocide, no sanctioned prison camps in the US yet.
Chinese use “social stability” as an excuse for censorship
The USA and its controlled media use “racism” or “misinformation.”
The effective difference is about 6 months.
Oh, well everything’s OK then. I was getting pretty concerned until I was reminded that at least the government isn’t killing us and harvesting our organs…yet. I’ll sleep much better now.
I don’t think that the US government engages in “disappearing” and “organ harvesting”, but I’m not sure how I could know if they did.

They do 'disappear' people. The CIA has unmarked airplanes (not kidding, odd that Biden arrived on an unmarked aircraft on Jan 20- but I digress).
So we also have a number of offshore 'rendition' sites.
And then we have prisons like Guantamo - there's a youtube channel that (used to?) use flight tracking software to monitor who is going where - and there were CIA type flights to this little tiny island way off in the Atlantic (I forget where) that when photographed from above appears to consist of 95% walled prison compound.
They also torture people in country. Whistleblower @Johnheretohelp was beaten by CIA/FBI types repeatedly to the point that the prison guard refused to remain present, went and reported it to the warden. Wardens apparently go along with this (some - it was a federal prison) but there's a limit. According to @johnheretohelp he was denied medical treatment (no documentation) and after one particularly brutal beating, had to manually re-insert a portion of his intestines. This was on John Brennan's watch - whenever he saw @JohnHereToHelp again, he laughingly sneared that he was a <series of expletives> cripple.
And we have Biden's solitary confinement gulag for the Jan 6 protesters who were picked up and detained last year for a trial that woudn't occur until sometime this year.
I believe we do organ harvesting.

Also, Trump put an end to China's possession of private, sovereign docks in FL and CA. Those docks were sovereign territory and could not be inspected. President Trump was reported as ending a contract a California officeal made with China to have it's sovereign port around Long Beach. The wording of the article made it sound like it wasn't in effect, but I believe that the MSM laying down cover for Obama.

So you believe - but that is not a fact. Moreover, you and others have no real idea just how draconian the CCP is.
There is so much CCP propaganda floating around. its difficult to discern the reality of a country that surveils everyone all day, all the time, and has government facial recognition cameras every where run by the MSS or Guoanbu (Military Intelligence, FBI, CIA, NSA, DHS, Treasury - all rolled into one unit, run by the Central Committee of the CCP).
