Just totally absurd. These companies need to be crushed.

This expression is kind of useless: “so and so NEEDS TO... stick their head in the oven or jump off a cliff or get crushed or get a bullet between the eyes, etc.”
Agree with all but Gettr. A growing, powerful platform with over 3 million users. Clean platform. No ads. Ongoing, upgrades with features that make sense. More importantly everyone I followed on Twitter is there. Jason is doing things right.
Truth Social may change the landscape.
Styx may be right. 10 minutes in length:
I’m not arguing that they ARE cool. Far from it. I’m just saying that over the last 40-50 years they’ve managed to CONVINCE people that they were. And I’d bet every moron who is still a leftist is that way because he STILL thinks the Left are the cool ones. It’s all about the marketing and propaganda.
Most conservatives are oblivious to the fact that rock and roll was inherently conservative when it was first invented. It was a celebration of American post war triumphism and the rise of suburban teenage culture.
The Left hated it for that reason. They called it mindless commercial crap. At the time, the young college students were into the folkie Commie scene. The likes of Joan Baez wagging her finger at how horrible America was.
But then when the hair got longer, and the music got louder, and kids started doing drugs, and got a
rise out of pissing off their parents, the Left realized they could coopt rock and roll for their own purposes.
Rush Limbaugh never acknowledged this. Conservatives are so beyond clueless about so many things.
Government status updates helps draw people to Twitter. When we get a chance, the government should forbid all agencies, officials, and employees from using the site for any official functions.
Do this without any forewarning to Twitter, drop the ban with the intention of directly affecting Twitter’s revenue by removing a significant reason many users use the site.
Government should have no dealings with a company that intentionally targets, harasses, and manipulates the public.
Twitter *may* not care about the 1st amendment but governments should.
