France removes “””LEFT WING SOCIALIST””” EU flag from Arc de Triomphe after right-wing outrage ‘at left wing BS’.

Better?

Face it. France had catastrophic losses of its best genetic stock during the Napoleonic wars and the European civil wars of 1914-1945. It was even worse for Germany, Russia and Britain. Being overrun by culturally alien migrants, horrid leadership and cultural decay was inevitable.

"...after right-wing outrage"

Now that is something I've NEVER, EVER seen or heard in the USA.

It's always "a couple of [radical leftist] guys with a fax machine" (as Rush used to say) that stir up the pot, get highly vocal, and get the Boardroom guys to immediately cave.

Can anybody remember a time in the USA when "right-wing outrage" made something happen?

FTA
“Officials took down a temporary European Union flag at the Arc de Triomphe in Paris after it drew fury from conservatives and the far right. The flag was intended to mark the start of France’s six-month EU presidency.”

Just looking at the color being projected by the lights
at the memorial picture could be the problem.

Macron’s covert change of blue to tricolour French flag ‘echoes heroic past’

Issued on: 21/11/2021
https://www.rfi.fr/en/france/20211121-macron-s-covert-change-of-blue-to-tricolour-french-flag-a-symbol-of-heroic-past
“It’s a change so subtle it went unnoticed for almost three years, but President Emmanuel Macron ordered a deeper colour change to the French flag to symbolise the heroics of France’s past.

Keen-eyed observers may notice the red, white, and blue tricolour flying above the Elysée Palace – and also positioned behind Macron in speeches – bears a darker navy blue that’s now replaced the previous bright blue.

The navy blue marks a return to tradition. It was former president Valery Giscard d’Estaing who switched to the brighter blue in 1976 so that it matched the colour of the European flag, which displays yellow stars on a blue background.

The change to Pantone Reflex Blue was made on the flags placed behind Macron at speeches from 2018, and updated on those flying atop the Elysée and other presidential buildings from 2020, said a presidential official who asked not to be named.

The official said that the navy blue colour “evokes the memory” of the heroes who fought in the French Revolution, the trenches of World War I and in the Resistance during World War II.”

Have been to France a number of times, from Lille to Paris, Nice, Ile d'Oleron, and Toulouse. Have fond memories and made a lot of friends. This is the scene in Casablanca that always gets to me.

Long past time they stood up to Brussels (and Frankfurt). They're going to have to shave some heads and take care of Macron Pétain and his fellow collaborators in the process. Heads should literally roll, but the guillotine is unfortunately retired.

I’m glad there are still a lot of Frenchies left who love their country and don’t want to see it absorbed in the great big expanding blob known as the “european union.”
