We just received a blessed week of hard rain. Hopefully more is on the way. We've suffered under a 10-year drought and water restrictions.
Praying for more and more and more.
Plants are happy. Very very happy:
Hibiscus has perked up:

Cyclamen loved the rain:

Gaillardia too:

The only member of the family that wasn't happy was this one:

Inspired by Bon of Babble's picture posts, I am learning to post pictures. Let's see if this works.....this is a test post.... forgive me if it fails... This is the 8x10 hobby greenhouse I built, just completed recently, covered in Lexan.

So glad you got rain! I lived in Imperial Beach from 1980-’82 and we were in a drought then, too.
Mom is a model train buff, and she ‘runs’ her trains at our local Botanical Garden in Christmastime. This year they had over 10,00 people visit, earning the gardens a cool $50K! When they break down the displays, she always gets some ‘freebies’ to take home, so this year she got a Poinsettia, an Orchid and then yesterday was describing to me what could only be a Cyclamen. She described the leaf first, so that was easy, LOL!
Happy New Year!
