I’m pretty sure 99% of new car buyers aren’t aware many if not most new cars are sold with a hidden location device similar to lo jak that tracks your car in the event you default on your car loan. Makes it easy to locate and repossess. There is away to disable it if you know how.

From what I read this is done not on new cars but on used cars sold to high risk customers.
