It’s not the States that are divided, it is the Urban and Rural areas in every State. Dallas and Houston are just as blue as San Francisco.

If red and blue states split (never happen), I can garauntee that if not right away, eventually the blue states would outlaw emigration. They would put up walls (even though they don’t work, heh) like east Berlin.

A lot of states need the federal government to survive. Mississippi definitely would never survive in a divorce.
