A Chicago 911 dispatcher warned Tuesday on "Fox & Friends" that citywide staffing shortages are exacerbating violent crime, knocking local government and leadership for their inability to keep citizens safe.
"All hell has broken loose," Keith Thornton told "Fox & Friends" enterprise reporter Lawrence Jones.
Thornton said that a "massive" amount of crime is taking place in the city at "all hours of the day," while first responders are being overworked and receiving no support from lawmakers and politicians.
"What’s horrible is the lack of leadership and the failure of leadership throughout this entire city of Chicago—and it’s ridiculous because it does not have to be this way," said Thornton.
Thornton added that the Chicago police, fire department, dispatchers, and other first responders are being "micromanaged" by Mayor Lori Lightfoot.
"The blood, in my opinion, is on her hands," Thornton said.

"This is not a black problem, a white problem, a Democratic problem, a Republican problem, a Latino problem, this is an all-hands-on-deck problem and everyone within Chicago should be fueled up—and that’s why I’m taking a stand," said Thornton.

Why else would you want a prosecutor who refuses to prosecute?

Of course the dems are exacerbating violent crime. They want all criminals set free because they want to have room to incarcerate their REAL enemies conservatives and any dissenting voices.
They need to immediately defund the police and shift the money to the hiring of large numbers of social workers.
And Mr. Thornton is not a member of a municipal employees union?

That must be the politic way to say "lawmakers and politicians are working contrary to public safety, against the interests of our taxpaying citizens, and are working FOR the criminals."

First responders should adopt the tried and true policy Shoot first and shoot to kill often, then when questioned “hey, my gun discharged must be a manufacturing problem….leadership doesn’t want to help, no one should have their back!

I have a theory that most people are going to say I’m crazy but I still think there is a kernel of truth in there. Of course this **** has been building for a long time and there are hundreds of factors we could all rattle off. But here’s one more. I never saw the damn movie but about 2 years or so (could have been more I don’t really know) there was that Black Panther movie which like I say I never saw but near as I can figure it spun this elaborate tale about how blacks where these mythic creatures from some fairy tale land - Wakanda - and our born “kings” or some such nonsense. I remember when that movie came out you’d be driving around town at night and you’d see the “fans” all decked out in their Wakanda costumes or what not.
Hitler had his Wagnerian Noridc mythology that tied together race and some sort of fanciful fantasy about some master race BS or other.
My “theory” is that this movie supplied some grist for the same sort of mill. I could be way off base here but that’s just been my sort of subconscious take on it.

Divide and conquer is in full affect in the US but for now it’s just pronounced in the bigger cities within the states where the anti-American communist democrats rule. It’s painfully obvious that sooner or later the American people will need to address this head on.

It’s a Democrat problem where they make up certain groups by statistical large groups. It’s people demanding equality of water during the great flood. Sucks but be careful in who you trust, talk too, confide in and let near your family.
For the communists the problem with capitalism is that it creates a comfortable and happy middle class. Rather than embrace radical transformation of society the wealth created by capitalism creates a populace unwilling to embrace revolution because of their comforts - food, housing, vacation, leisure time.
The goal for the left is to create chaos and discomfort. Double gas prices. Open borders. Rioters left to destroy. Criminals let back on the street to kill and destroy. All meant to collapse the system.
An invading power need not fire a shot to conspire America. Control the institutions (court system, media, education K to college) and then control the society. Convince people their country’s existence is a crime. Destroy all sense of pride. Destroy all sense of peace or prosperity. Create a desperate people willing to mask up, give up guns and freedom, and hand over power to go back to “normal” but the crisis will never end.
Post revolution the college professor types and intellectuals are the first to be executed because they are the first to become disillusioned by the revolution.
It’s not a “Democrat problem.” What we are seeing is an intentional radical takeover of our society by communists - internal and external - and the street thugs and looters are just shock troops meant to usher in the revolution.
