Actually, for once, we have a legit study posted here, from the peer-reviewed Journal of the American Medical Association. Findings are what one would expect: those with autoimmune diseases (such as HIV and rheumatoid arthritis) are more likely to get “breakthrough” cases because their immune systems do not mount as strong a reaction to the vaccines.

Nothing weird or scary.

I thought autoimmune diseases like rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, Hashimoto’s, etc are because the immune system is overactive - targeting bodily systems, not underactive.

Am I misguided?

Bet you a dollar the usual geniuses think that the paper is saying that the vaccine causes the immune dysfunction. They have a habit of not understanding one word of the studies that they post and simply forging ahead as if the studies support the group’s paranoid fantasies. I don’t think its intentional dishonesty, its due to being quite stupid.
