As someone who has been opposed to the damn vaccines since day one I'm feeling very despondent at the moment.
Our leaders we look up to are seemingly pro-Vaxx and are doubling down even in the face of mounting evidence that they do not work and are dangerous.
I don't want to come across as some crazy person but the next phase of their plan is to inject newborn babies with these experimental shots and then to mandate them.
When does the madness end?
I can't be the only one who is feeling dismayed about all this.
I'd like to know what we can do?
Continue to educate, post, share (if you can get past social media censorship) and promote the work of people like Dr. McCullough in the HOPE that we can reach the leaders within conservative circles.
We also have to offer them an off-ramp.
I can't for example see President Trump backing down.
He's essentially all-in with his recent comments and positions. Scary stuff.
However I believe he needs to come out forcefully against mandates and the injection of kids and contrast his position against the Biden administration as opposed to being praised by them!
It's not too late for him to do this and sincerely hope he will in the coming weeks.
Apart from that I'm at a loss.
Any ideas on what we can practically do are appreciated...

I think he needs to make it more clearer. My hope is when the cases go through the courts he will.
My mother told me that she didn’t see her brothers for almost 3 years during WWII. We are in a war and have to adopt a war mentality. There is an end at some point.

“Safety at all costs” has been a strong theme in human history. Question it, and you will be marked as careless and wreckless.
I just went and snowplowed my neighbors driveway.
That really helped me feel better about life.
Because he is not the president. They already want to try him for ridiculous things.
They also all say how great the vaccine is and are still pushing it despite the evidence and - as hardspunned points out - the risks that this entails.
For me it’s like watching a car crash in slow mo...

You’re wholly justified in your concern for this nation, our young citizens especially, and in the lack of defiance by leadership in this nation.
I’m at a loss how we resolve this, outside of prayer, activism and moral vigilance.
What can we do? Pray and resist, no matter what it costs.
Unplug all media (even FR. Gulp). Make God the center of your thoughts. Read the Bible. Pray. Go outside and drink in nature - then thank God for the beauty. It all seems crazy, but that’s why you should trust only in Our Lord.

I have no business worrying over what parents do with their children, that’s their department.

If everyone takes care of themselves and supports those close to them as best they can we will be fine.

I just read that if Fauci retires he gets a 350k a year pension!

With all the passion of a wet noodle. Trump’s reading poll numbers and making his comments accordingly. Did he just come out against illegal immigration and leave it at that? No! He was relentless. Now when our freedom is at stake all he can say is that he’s against mandates and the vaccines are great??? And what do you think Trump’s reaction will be if a brave soul steps up and calls out the vaccines and the mandates for the evil that they are?
We have no national leader on our side right now. I will be praying that one steps up like Trump did in 16.

I see it a lot on social media so people do feel the same way as some of us.
1. You are not alone, besides most of the Freepers, about 25% of PhDs are refusing the shot despite penalties. My job seems safe for now, but my wife is in danger of never being able to see the Canadian side of her family ever again as things now stand. Many of us are suffering in small ways and large.
2. Trust in God and gratitude for His gifts.
I agree. Even Christians can practice a form of stocism.
