I guessing that not eating at all for two or three days a week is a better idea — it puts your cells in to autophagy (sort of a spring cleaning for cells).

My doctor, whom I have been a patient of for over 25 years, prescribes supplements before prescription drugs. He has always told me to eat fruit in the morning on an empty stomach. I never asked why, just followed his direction.
