Poland’s deputy prime minister and the leader of its ruling party, Jaroslaw Kaczynski, accused Germany’s new government of wanting to turn the European Union into a federal “German Fourth Reich.”

In an interview with far-right Polish daily GPC published on Friday, the head of the Law and Justice (PiS) party said that some countries “are not enthusiastic at the prospect of a German Fourth Reich being built on the basis of the EU.” […]

He added that the EU’s Court of Justice was being used as an “instrument” for federalist ideas. […]

The agreement forged by the three parties to form Germany’s ruling coalition states that its ultimate goal is a federal European state. This aspect of the agreement was condemned by Poland’s PiS government, with Kaczynski even claiming such a state would take away Poland’s right to self-determination. …

The amazing part to me is not that Poland recognizes what’s going on but every other country around Germany can’t see what’s happening....maybe Vichy France is still in place.

We all know the ultimate goal of the EU is to eliminate national identity, boundary and self-determination in favor of a large, central socialist government.

Old Polish joke. A Russian is climbing in the back window and German is sneaking in the front door. Which one do you shoot first?
Easy, the German. Business before Pleasure.

That’s exactly what it is. I, and many others have been calling it the Fourth Reich for years.

Notice how its always the Germans calling the shots. Notice how when Germany decides to let in millions of 3rd world invaders without bothering to screen them....and then runs into trouble with the resulting flood - gee, what a surprise! - the EU starts trying to bully other EU countries into taking a portion of the 3rd world invaders. Why? Germany decided to let them in. That’s Germany’s problem - not Poland’s. Not Hungary’s. Not the Czech Republic’s. That’s just one example of the EU being little more than Germany’s puppet. There are many others like it.

Germans are so cucked and terrified of acting in their own name that they dare not do ANYTHING that could ever be called nationalist. Even taking pride in their own culture and wanting to preserve it is called “far right”.

But....

at the same time they still have both a smug certainty that they are better/smarter than everybody else AND still have an overriding desire to boss others around. This is especially true of their elites.

So what to do? I know! Just claim its for “Europe” rather than Germany and act through the vehicle of the EU. Problem solved! Bismarck once said “I always find the world *Europe* on the lips of someone who is about to ask me for something he would never dare ask for in his own right.” As we say in English, plus ca change, plus c’est la meme chose.

Bingo! The Poles, Hungarians (and other Central/Eastern Europeans quietly) have figured out how to work the system. Stay in the EU and collect the goodies like Structural funds, agriculture subsidies, free movement of persons, etc to benefit themselves economically. But at the same time, refuse to allow themselves to be bullied by Brussels.

I don’t blame them one tiny bit. They never got a Marshal Plan like the Western Europeans got. They got stuck with 45 years of communist oppression after the war while the Western Europeans got huge amounts of economic aid from America and extremely one sided trade treaties that gave them great access to the American market while they were allowed to be far more protectionist against American imports in their own markets. If the Eastern Europeans seem ungrateful toward the Western Europeans just remember how ungrateful the Western Europeans have been and are toward America.

Yeah. I think the Brits kinda, sorta figured it out and told the EU they wanted to Brexit. I suspect we will see a few more over the next 5-10 years, with the former Eastern Block countries leading the way.
If and it is a big IF, the EU or China or Russia or the US do not start WW3. Which by the way, I consider the most probable.
The EU is in a nationalistic expansion mood and wants to become the United States of Europe. This could start either a European war, ala WW1 or just several small conflicts.
China is in domination mood and wants to control the world. Typical all Communist and an invasion of or attack on the right country could fire it off. Russia is afraid of losing warm water ports & prestige. So any perceived slight or shun could set off a conflagration.
The US has a declining economy and piss-poor leadership. Two things that usually lead to death & destruction.

Exactly. If it weren’t for German funding Europe would be dead broke. The main reason Fritz has been willing to finance the deficit spenders, mainly the PIIGS, is because Fritz is very easily put on a guilt trip due to his Nazi history.

— “The agreement forged by the three parties to form Germany's ruling coalition states that its ultimate goal is a federal European state.”

Some have called this the EUSSR, but whatever the supra-nationalist are, they are no democrats in the small “d” sense. Using a tiered parliamentary system, the ruling elite have insulated themselves from the citizenry. And of course atop the system sits a German.

No conversation about a "free" Germany on either side. Sad. In Germany itself the potential real opposition party, the AfD, is called extreme right wing, This biased Deutsche Welle article however cannot keep its message straight.

“Green party lawmaker Cem Özdemir said he believed the group was the largest right-wing extremist organization in Germany, with up to 20,000 members. The largest Gray Wolves umbrella organization, according to Germany's domestic intelligence service, is the ADÜTF, with some 170 associations and 7,000 members.”

https://www.dw.com/en/german-lawmakers-urge-ban-on-extreme-right-turkish-gray-wolves/a-55528032

Additionally: “The Grey Wolves is a Turkish far-right organization and movement affiliated with the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP). Their members adhere to an extreme form of Turkish nationalism. It has been characterized as neo-fascist by scholars, mainstream media, and left-wing sources. A 1981 article in the New York Times described MHP and its satellite groups as a ‘xenophobic, fanatically nationalist, neofascist network steeped in violence’.”

https://www.eurasiareview.com/07112020-germany-lawmakers-propose-banning-turkish-grey-wolves-movement/

So when next we read about the “extreme right” in Germany as the media lambasted the AfD — Alternative for Germany party, led generally by small-government activists — understand that the real “extreme right wing” — real fascists — still operated and they are German Turks. That the ruling by the new German government urges closer "federal" union with the corrupt EU Commission shows that indeed a fourth Reich seems to be brewing, quite as the Nazis and Communists both in pre-WWII Germany sought for power over "greater" Europe -- which as we recall overwhelmed Poland. To name opposition to this "right wing" only testifies that the "closer" federal lock for Germany in the EU is "left wing."
