The progressives have desired a government takeover of medicine since 1912. We keep telling them no, they keep trying to nationalize it anyways.
Has there ever been a winter in the history of the world when lots of people weren’t sick with sneezing, coughing, runny noses, sore throat, bit of a fever?
I don’t believe for a minute that there was any good intention by the government to avoid a health care crisis during Covid.
“Never let a good crisis go to waste”.
I believe the government saw an opportunity to force a health care crisis to accelerate the collapse of private health care. We know they have been dying to install single-payer, government provided health care. The sooner they can collapse the private health care industry, the sooner the public will clamor for the government to step in and “save us”.
This is no accident. It is not incompetence. It is the plan.
