Yep! 😁 The older antihistamines double well as sleep aids - as a useful side effect. Benadryl (diphenhydramine) is the most 'popular' one. As I say, hospitals give it freely to satisfy patient requests for help to get to sleep.
However, you should read smileyface's post to clarify my late night ramblings. 😉
I can’t tolerate the new anti-histimines the docs prescribe for me. Too many side effects. Guess what works the best? Good old Benadryl!
