Gives Pulisic a chance to shine. Although Tuchel did nobody any favors this weekend when he played Christian at striker. Real strange move. Almost like he wanted Pulisic to look bad.
It’s not a “vaccination.”
No, they’re not “protected from the virus.”
Pulisic played well.
I’m rooting for him. He’s got tremendous skills but those skills weren’t allowed to shine as a striker.
O think Pulisic is so good at going after opponents one on one, an attacking mid-fielder probably suits his talent better than as a forward.
When he first got to Chelsea, he had an uncanny ability to earn penalty kicks with his quickness and dribbling skills. It also gave him opportunities for attempts on goal.
He is also a very unselfish player and has a number of assists. I sometimes think his teammates aren’t exactly looking for him when he is open for passes in good scoring positions. Might be a bias against American players in the EPL. He did not have that problem at Dortmund in the Bundesliga.
