Despite having been burned by a guide urging Whites to repent for systemic racism, the Salvation Army is again dipping into Critical Race Theory.
The Salvation Army, despite having faced a massive backlash because of November’s “Let’s Talk About Racism” guide, doesn’t seem to have learned its lesson. It’s now announced that, in January, it will be offering a two-day racial justice forum in Illinois. This turn to the left does not bode well for an organization that has already seen a significant drop in charitable donations since it decided to embrace leftist politics.
Since its founding in 1865, the Salvation Army has been one of the most effective charitable organizations in America. Grounded in Evangelical Christianity, its members have reached out to and helped the poor, the hungry, and the broken, both physically and spiritually. It offers salvation grounded in Christ.
However, in November, the Salvation Army issued a guidebook entitled “Let’s Talk About Racism,” which seemed to be trying to shift its salvation focus from Christ to Critical Race Theory. The pushback was so great that the Salvation Army pulled the guidebook. Despite having done so, though, in some regions, the Salvation Army saw a precipitous decline in both volunteers and donations.
One would think that the beat-down it took in November and December, both in terms of public opprobrium and financial losses, would have caused the Salvation Army to think twice about adding a big dollop of Marxist-inspired Critical Race Theory to its core Christianity. One would be wrong, however, to think that. Fox News reports that the Salvation Army’s Metropolitan Division is offering a two-day long racial justice forum:
The Salvation Army is hosting a two-day racial justice forum in Illinois in an effort to “help alleviate the pain of suffering humanity within our communities...

First year in decades I have NOT GIVEN ONE THIN DIME TO SALVATION ARMY.
‘eff ‘em.
This was not “diversity training”.
This was vicious anti-white critical race theory.
“Diversity training” was a 1990s thing.
The SA needs to pick the log out of their eyes before complaining about the specs in others. The need to immediately clean house of the disastrous leadership. Put Christ at the top and start working from there.
The SA has been infiltrated by leftists. This is what happens when you allow leftists to be in positions of leadership in any organization. Since the SA isn’t the state or federal government, they can’t force us to their will.
I’ve given them money out of my paycheck every year for well over a decade. No longer.
SA for this severe departure from their original mission, as well as Samaritans Purse for Franklin promoting The Vax.
Very sad but it's the only thing they understand even if they double down anyway.
I vote with my feet. It's about all I have.
Perhaps what revenues they’ve lost because of this be more than replaced by the donations from “the other side”, who had previously viewed the SA as being too churchy and/or too rightwing for them to be seen with before.
But now? I’m sure the Oprah and the rest who follow in step can now be blessed for openly blessing the SA with big donations that more than make up for what those stingy, racist, so-called religious right-wingers used to give them.
For the children. Merry Xmas!
The Salvation Army gets money from Fedzilla and state governments

If that’s the case, then diversity training was probably a condition for the grant money.

A distinction without a difference as far as my donations are concerned. The Salvation Army had better have cut a deal to receive ALL of their funding from the federal government. The feds can thieve people’s money. The Salvation Army can’t.
WOW you guys are mixing up the national HQ from the local SA, but you guys do you. as for me i will keep giving, because of all the good they do. I bet most of you have never been to the local SA office/Church and asked for help either.
The Salvation Army should go the next step and take up arms against America, apple pie, and God of the Bible.
They want Federal block grants.
The Salvation Army is sadly no longer a Christian organization. Their religion is now Racist Marxism.
