“Immunity” is not some invisible form floating in body. One of the major ways body fights invading virus is with anti-bodies which are designed to fit the virus signature, thus able to recognize the virus and zero in on it to kill it. Anti-bodies are created either by natural exposure to virus or by means of a vaccine developed for the specific signature of a particular virus. In other words, when anti-bodies are created, it can be said that immunity is present to a particular virus.
