"All from well timed purely coincidental investments to be sure."

It was fun reading and learning that the rich female members of Congress don’t hold anything on their own - it’s their HUSBANDS who are the investors and wealthy (Feinstein/Pelosi) and the rich male members don’t hold anything on their own - it’s their WIVES who are investors/trust funds/CEO’s etc. Please tell me what the wife of Blumenthal found appealing in him - I can see why he found her appealing - HER MONEY! There was a link to another article of those bordering on illegality with insider information/trading. Penalty? NADA!
They really do take us for a bunch of dummies, don’t they?

Also this - seems they’re not very good a managing their own money:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A few members of Congress’ minimum sum of liabilities far surpassed the minimum sum of their disclosed assets.
These five members’ negative estimated wealth stemmed from high-priced mortgages:
Rep. Lucille Roybal-Allard, a Democrat from California: -$1,008,000
Rep. Steven Horsford, a Democrat from Nevada: -$1,047,992
Sen. Cynthia Lummis, a Republican from Wyoming: -$1,401,991
Sen. Tammy Duckworth, a Democrat from Illinois: -$1,877,936
Rep. August Pfluger, a Republican from Texas: -$2,000,002
