Bill O’Reilly has revealed that he had to console Donald Trump after he was booed by his own supporters for getting a vaccine booster shot. Trump told MAGA fans that he’d had his COVID-19 booster during Sunday’s final stop on the “History Tour” he co-headlined with the disgraced ex-Fox News star.
The revelation prompted a chorus of boos and jeers from anti-vaxxers in the crowd. In an interview with Dan Abrams on NewsNation, O’Reilly said Trump phoned him after the event and was apparently hurt by the reaction.
“I told him that today, he called me,” said O’Reilly. “I said ‘This is good for you, this is good that people see another side of you, not a political side, you told the truth, you believe in the vax, your administration did it, and you should take credit for it, because it did save, I don’t know, hundreds of thousands of lives.’” The ex-Fox News star later said Trump that will definitely run in 2024, telling Abrams: “I’m trying to tell President Trump, run on your record. He’s going to run again, all right.”

“If people ideologically jettison Trump because he got the vaccine which he took as a personal, voluntary choice, then they have an issue which is going to eventually come to a head.”
Excellent post. Thank you.
Agree.
Money.
Trump loves his clowns. He appointed a ton of them.
I’m with you on that.
I was thinking that this was a little like the Ted Cruz/Glen Beck thing.
Seems that Trump is not seeing the whole picture on these vacs. He feels proud that he got “vaccines” out to the public in record time ... but these “vaccines” don’t do what we were first told. Add to that the curious side effects sooooo many people experience, including stroke, clots, heart attacks and death. I wonder if he understands about that? I wonder if he knows...
I have no problem with the jeers. Our President in exile is not perfect. He is not God.
Appointing leftist Deep Staters was his greatest flaw, not his tweets.
Trump blew it when he dumped Steve Bannon. Bannon, Navarro and Stephen Miller are the guys Trump needs to trust. O’Reilly? C’mon Man.
“Trump was the best thing the Republicans ever had..”
True. It was smart initially to try to fast track a vaccine, when worst case scenarios hadn’t yet been ruled out. President Trump was wise to act according to worst case scenarios - and he should be proud of Operation Warp Speed.
“Vaccines and boosters are the best way to avoid a serious case of COVID, especially for anyone above 50 or at risk.”
False. These fake vaccines aren’t doing squat - and it’s statistically almost impossible to get a serious case of Covid. If you get very sick or die WITH Covid it is because you were already very sick or dying of something else.
After several months, it was obvious Covid was on par with the common cold: contagious but also very mild. Very likely, most of us caught it and never even knew it, and as a result, we have a far, far better and longer lasting immunity than the fake vaccines could ever have hoped to give us.
“So many deluded people think the vaccine is killing people…”
I agree that’s deluded… the vaccines are relatively safe….but still not worth the risk if they don’t work - which they don’t.
By the time the fake vaccines were ready - they were obsolete - people either had very mild symptoms, or co-morbidities to explain any serious condition - but it was obvious that Big Pharma’s greed and the Political Left’s need for tyrannical control - were not going to “let a good crisis go to waste.”
“Now a bunch of deluded “conservatives” are pissing on him because they don’t believe 96 percent of the medical community.”
It’s a shame they are pissing on President Trump - his narrative of blaming China for a deadly pandemic and then taking credit for saving the world with the vaccine - is smart politically.
Blaming China for unleashing a plague was the right move - but let’s face it: Covid was NOTHING like the Spanish Flu - and these fake vaccines aren’t doing squat.
And don’t believe that “96% of the medical community BS - numbers like that are pulled out of someone’s ass.
Suspicious is good. For the record, I am not in favor of mandates, mask policies, or shutdowns. I lean Libertarian but consider myself a Trump-style Republican (although I’ll support any candidate who isn’t a Democrat.)
But I’m pretty clear of my motives. I don’t want conservatives to die needlessly on ventilators. I especially don’t want Leftists to have an easy target for mockery— which they do when you see conservatives claiming they are “vaccinated by Jesus” or posting “my body my choice” (or dozens of other memes) and end up dying a horrible death that is most easily prevented by using a vaccine.
I want conservatives to be the party of logic, statistics, and making good healthy decisions. I want conservatives to win elections by not looking like a bunch of tinfoil hat wearing troglodytes.
I’m not remotely suggesting the vaccines are perfect. They are not. But for the old and/or fat, they’re the best thing going. Everyone can choose.
Thanks for posting your creds. Very interesting post too.
My MD literally prescribes 10 nutritional supplements for me,He checks them out on WebMD before he decides. Everything now said to boost immunity, I’ve taken every morning for 50 years. Read the right books back then, long before I met him.
Anyway....at the beginning of the outbreak, I had an appointment with him. He looked at me from a proper social distance and asked whether I’d had the vax.
“I was going to ask you about that,” I said. “But you’re a doctor and you have to say yes.” At this point we’re both LOL.
He said, “”You look very healthy to me. Come back in six months.”
I am very healthy., though old enough to be considered “high risk.” Only health problem was cause by MD’s and it’s a corneal transplant wrecked with wrong ointment prescribed. Need a new transplant next year. Terrified.
The age/high risk link is infuriating. I’m healthier than most people half my age.
As for the vax, wasn’t going to get a “conditionally approved” vax. Then Pfizer was FDA approved. So I got one. A week later the head of Pfizer left the company and took a leadership position at the FDA. Did NOT pass the smell test, so I found a book on the FDA. Bunch of liars and cheats in it for the money. Regret taking that vax, though no side effects, not even a red jab site. Hope it didn’t compromise what I considered my natural immunity. Most assuredly not getting another shot.
Amen. I don’t mind the fact that he is proud of getting the vax produced, approved, and manufactured in record time. And, who am I to say that his decision to take the vax and the boosters is wrong? It was his decision and therefore right for him. Isn’t that the same kind of acceptance we say we want? Taking the shots is as much his right as not taking them is mine.
You sir nailed it. My problem with Trump isn’t whether he got or believes in the vaxx or not. It’s he constantly wants praise for warp speed, he’s such a damn narcissist. The issue now is the mandates and Fauci lying about gain of function. I still hear Trump saying he’s a nice guy but wrong on so much, oh and he throws a baseball poorly. What?! Fauci is a sociopathic criminal, Trump won’t go there (or I haven’t heard it), would rather chest thump about China owing the world reparations, that’s going nowhere. Also, I’d like to know why it took Rand Paul to expose Fauci, what was Pompeo and his Wuhan investigation team doing for 10 months? Trump isn’t interested in any of that, just wants adoration for warp speed.
Probably not. What we'll likely see is a gradual but significant increase of certain diseases in those who have a compromised immune system: bacterial infections, viral infections, fungal infections, cancer et al. The body depends heavily upon the CD8+ T-cell response to mitigate these conditions. More people will die but the cause will not be obviously be related to the mRNA injections.
If you want to learn more about it, you could listen to the podcast I linked above.
Exactly, Trump is the one who got us the vax in the first place. Of course he believes in it! If he condemned it now, people would be saying, “Well, why did you get us a bad vaccine?”
Originally Kamala said she’d never take the vax because it came from Trump. Then as soon as Biden got into office, they wanted us to forget that the vax came from Trump. Notice they never mention now that it came from him! But now the vax is the greatest thing ever, and they’re pressuring and forcing us to take it.
So— the people we LEAST trust, namely, the Biden administration, are ordering us to take this vax. If Trump had remained in office, he’d be saying, “I recommend you take it, but I don’t think you should be forced.” That would be a whole different ballgame! There’d be far less suspicion of it, IMO.
I never claimed Trump didn’t get booed... I also never said no on who supports Trump listens to Alex Jones.
I said, assuming Alex Jones audience is a representative sample of MAGA is not remotely true.

Sorry been around too long for this nutter conspiracy nonsense... Alex Jones lied, knowingly and willfully lied regarding Sandy Hook, so much so that he was found legally liable for his behavior...
I was here when fools were arguing David Westerfield couldn’t have murdered Daniel Van Dam, because, well you know he looked like a kindly grandpa, and her parents were swingers. The Child Porn they found and the blood in his RV were planted by the cops.... yadda yadda yadda.
Alex Jones has found his niche, it has allowed him to keep a very full belly feeding conspiracy theories to those who want to consume them... but he’s a hack.
Blind squirrels sometimes find a nut... but propping up Alex Jones as some grand great guy who’s got his thumb on the pulse of reality is just as ludicrous as claiming Joe Biden has full command of his mental faculties.
