Not Lovin' It Fast-food restaurants make some of our favorite guilty pleasures, many of which have reached iconic status. But it takes a lot of experimenting to score a hit the likes of the Big Mac, Whopper, or Frosty. Whether they missed the mark on taste, customer enthusiasm, or something else, here are some of the biggest fast-food flops from the past few decades, including a burger that's getting a second chance to impress math-challenged Americans.

Ours became a DQ :(
I miss Author Treachers too.. :(
fish was always difficult to find in ne Tx, odd to me for an ocean state.
I get great seafood in OHIO, haddock, cod, walleye, perch, shrimp, clams..
Tio Leo’s Guacamole taco and a cheese enchilada. Heaven on a plate.
My wife and I saw a Arby's sign that said "No McFibs here..." so we just call them McFibs now.
They limit the locations of their restaurants to be within a certain distance of their farms. One of the reasons their food is so good.
Where’s the BEEF?
In 99 McDonalds bought the Donatos chain, but that didn’t last either as they sold it back to the original guy 5 yrs later.

And last year Red Robin apparently bought it. They now serve Donatos pizzas at their restaurants. Tried a couple. Not bad.
I was in Manila a while back, and they STILL have Kenny Roger’s Roasters there! (I remember a couple in Nashville that *ALWAYS* showed up on the “bad health score” list in the newspaper. We nicknamed them “Kenny Rogers Roachers” as a result).
2AM trips there for me when the wife was pregnant. There was a place in Ft Smith Ark that sells Mexican; not sure if it is still there. Their carne asada burritos tasted just like Albertos. So good that I had the wife pick up a bag every time she was down there on business. She started talking to the guy behind the counter. He was the owner/cook's son. Turns out the dad had worked at the Alberto's we frequented and the son had worked there at the time we lived in San Diego. Chances are they had cooked for us and bussed our table at some point.
Yom!
I believe that A@W was the inventor of the bacon cheese burger. Sadly their hamburger is not high quality.
Breakfast of champions dude!
I had to learn how to make my own machaca after leaving SD
:(
There was a burger chain called Howdy’s. There had one in my town and it was good. Howdy’s was owned by Dunkin’
Cool! But do they serve broccoli?
Most chains suck but many were good in the day, I liked Carls Jr Western Star back in the day.
Visited my brother in central Massachusettes a long time ago, and we wanted Mexican. Chi-chi’s was the only game in town.
I ordered a chimi and asked the waiter if they had green chili to smother it. He said, “well actually, it’s kinda beige”.
Still gives me a chuckle.
Because of their “Roachers” name, I’ve never been to one. US or not.
