If DeSantis wants the top spot, he’ll have to enter & win the 2024 Republican Primary.

I assume Trump becomes the presumptive nominee the day he formally announces. And if he decides not to run, then it’s DeSantis.

DeSantis as VP would be a great transition for the 2028 race.
I’ll be long gone by then from the vax but it would be good for my kids.
