So, we have two people who were considered to be very credible by the military testify to an ET craft. There are other officers who were present at Roswell during that incident who have also testified on their deathbeds that the crash was real, and it was of ET origin. There are several incidents like the Roswell crash where people testified to craft and ET bodies.
At some point one just needs to have faith in high placed reliable individuals when they collectively tell the same story. There are many such stories, and good people have related them.
A lot has occurred throughout my lifetime that I have taken on faith in the people who reported things to me. For example, the Apollo landing happened, yet I didn't directly observe it happening. The Mai Lai Massacre happened, yet I didn't see that either. This goes on and on.
I just consider the quality of the sources. They meet muster.

The metal was stronger and lighter than aluminum, which is consistent with sinterized aluminum alloy, necessary for a boundary layer control aircraft [and well within 1940s technological capability] as promoted by the aeronautical luminaries of their day in the 1920s.
