That is delta. Check back in a week or two. After Omicron sends delta packing. Omicron is fast! Comes in, cleans house, moves on.
Hospitalizations are decreasing in our state where Omicron has come to visit. And all of this is about to go away where it sticks around for, oh, 3-4 weeks.
Anyway that’s MSM fear porn to get people vaxxed. Why?
Because they are terrified and rightly so that omicron will mutate and add lethality to its bag of tricks- if that happens, because it has an Ro of at least 20 and probably closer to 30, we are all mostly cooked, vaxxed or not.
The world would be fairly devastated. But South Africa has a lot of HIV and it didn’t mutate there. Mutations really get going in immunicompromised infected because of the rapid cycle of reproduction.
