‘‘Tis the season to post my favorite Christmas flash mob video.
“Brought tears to my eyes how life used to be...”
And how far we have sunk in a mere 10 years!
You might like this one, Gloria in excelsis Deo, in a Berlin mall. Not the greatest sound quality, but have a look at how they rewrote the lyrics for evangelizing a shopping mall. Pretty cool:

We Americans should try this!
Thanks—I’ve bookmarked for future enjoyment. Their lyrics are unnecessarily light on the gospel message, in my view.
Headline for 2021.
“Maskless White flash mob mall foot court and tormented people, singing hallelujah which is code word for “let’s go Brandon”!”
I used to think these flash mobs were stupid but I miss them now.
My personal favorite. When the kid drops to his knees it brings chills.

Maybe so, to our ears, especially to us American church goers. German church membership and attendance has been in steep decline for decades. Even those Germans who belong to churches very rarely attend services.
So I thought it was pretty cool they reminded the shoppers of the “reason for the season” and that “Jesus saves” and what the religious Christmas carols are actually all about even though they have faded into pleasantly meaningless background “department store music” for most — and got all those prim and proper German shoppers to sing praises to God right there in the mall.
That video was excellent! I like it even better than the one I posted. Thanks.
(It’s just a bit of a shame it wasn’t filmed in HD.)
Wonderful! Thank you! Yes, it does bring chills! The escalator guys were fun, too!
Amen to that. Absolutely magnificent!
I was thinking the same thing, however: how life *used to be*.
Seems the only people doing flash mob meetups these days are looters.
a nice civilization if you can keep it....
