One of my great favorites. Good sound, good cameras and VERY GOOD voices!
An excellent Handel (1685-1759) biography & background to his collaboration with Charles Jennens (1700-73) in the creation of the Messiah Oratorio in 1741 can be found in this 2014 BYU Video presentation. Mr Jennens was the genius lyricist [words] that pulled so much Old Testament prophecy from the KJV & Coverdale Bible texts. He gets far too little credit!
At the 2nd Christmas with COVID, I mourn for the old normal. I PRAY that Christmas of 2022 will return us to what we had. PRAYER WORKS!
