New York Legislation Provides for Indefinite Detention of Unvaccinated at Governor’s Whim.
On January 5th, 2022, the New York Senate and Assembly will vote on a bill that would, if passed into law, grant permissions to remove and detain cases, contacts, carriers, or anyone suspected of presenting a “significant threat to public health” and remove them from public life on an indefinite basis.
Bill A416 presents a serious risk to the basic liberties of all Americans in the state of New York, including their right to choose whether or not to receive medical treatment and vaccinations related to thus far undetermined contagious diseases.
The bill gives the Governor of New York, his or her delegates – including but not limited to the commissioner and heads of local health departments – the right to remove and detain any individuals or groups of people through issuing a single order. The orders only have to include the individual’s name(s) or “reasonably specific descriptions of the individuals or groups.”

They will follow people in the community who cause problems, either online or in real life, regarding the vax mandates and lockdowns, and find a reason to lock them up.
So many lampposts.
Yep, look at what they did to the Jan. 6th protestors.
They just keep pushing, and pushing, and pushing.
I guess they’re trying to get the lead to fly....and it just might with insane utter BS like this.
Hochul is the Red Queen in Wonderland.
Part of Biden’s long dark winter plan!!!!
Already wrote to my NY State Senator and Assembly person. Not sure if it will do any good!

****
Will be hard to track.
So many “influencers” and video makers out there. They will just stop posting one day.
Their real life friends and family will know what happened, but their posts about the arrests will be easy to scrub, so people will never know.
Only those with big wide audiences, usually with corporate ties, would be immune, and that’s a small subsection of the group.
Those get dealt with through more traditional leveraging.
And in so doing. make themselves legitimate targets for execution from anyone concerned about preserving liberty. Might as well paint a target on them.
They must want to start a ‘hot’ war.
And in NY, it’ll probably pass with not much protest. “Dacah for me, gulag for you!”
So many lampposts.
I see the US as 50 mostly sovereign nations. I have no reason to ever enter the country of New York. And I have several reasons not to.
The great thing about a lot of nations within a single federation is that they compete. i.e. if you don’t like what your country is doing, and voting is not helping, you can go to a country where they are more in line with your values. Hence my move from Seattle to Kentucky ten years ago - and all the immigrants to Texas from California.
Reminder, this is how the Nazis pushed the Jews into ghettos to be rounded up later.
And if they can detain the January 6 people indefinitely, they'll try it with others they find "troublesome". You can bet your bottom dollar this won't be limited to something disease related.

How many Typhoid Mary’s are acceptable?
Mary was an asymptomatic carrier of typhoid who worked as a cook. It’s not know with certainty but she was responsible for up to as many as fifty deaths. She was forcibly quarantined but released after promising not to work as a cook again. She soon broke that promise and infected others.
Should she have been given the freedom to pursue her life as a cook despite the carnage she caused or does society have the right to constrain ‘Typhoid Marys’? Note their was no cure for typhoid.

Not when Democrats hold substantial majorities in both the Assembly, and the Senate. My State Senator is a Republican. The thing in the Assembly is a female, and a Democrap.
