A friend in high school had a pair of spider monkeys in a large cage. The female liked to have her head scratched. The male would poop in his hand and throw it at you.

No, just an instant revulsion the first time I saw them in a zoo.

We visited one temple where people were advised not to take backpacks because the nearby monkeys had learned most tourists carry food in them. They would attack and tear into any backpack.
