No, just an instant revulsion the first time I saw them in a zoo.
When I was 16 or so, a friend took me with her family to the zoo in DC.
They had a Silverback gorilla in what I would describe as a glass cubicle.
Its back was to everyone passing by but when I stopped to look at it, it slowly turned and looked me dead in the eyes.
I nearly fainted.
Ironically, Planet of the Apes is like one of my top 10 favorite movies.
